An afternoon concert with forgotten works by female composers

Throughout the history of music, female composers have stood in the shadow of their male colleagues, and the profession is still dominated by men. The early female composers were often met with prejudice and suspicion due to their gender. They were not granted the same opportunities to perform their music, and their works have subsequently not been given the place in music history that they deserve.

Come and listen to forgotten works by female composers performed by artists from the Royal Danish Orchestra and the Royal Danish Opera.
