My Education: The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Milan Vitek and Peder Elbæk.

My favorite musical composition: Der Rosenkavalier by Strauss and Stravinsky’s Jeu de Cartes plus Layla by Eric Clapton.

My greatest musical experience: Some of my greatest musical experiences have been playing the Sibelius symphonies with Paavo Berglund and Beethoven’s piano concertos with Daniel Barenboim. Opera-wise, Wagner’s Tristan og Isolde with Dietfried Bernet conducting was unforgettable, but even a “routine” evening playing Boheme with our own soloists can reach unexpected heights…..

My most memorable/funny/unusual experience in the Kapel: When I was new, getting to know the wide range of personalities in the orchestra was an unusual and sometimes challenging experience. Despite a strong sense of unity, the musicians often have their own pride of opinion on the repertoire that they have performed in the the pit year after year.

When I’m not playing in the Kapel: I am an enthusiastic runner; I enjoy challenging interval-training sessions and planning for my next marathon.
