My education: Cleveland institute of Music, Northwestern University, Bachelor of Music, 1976.

My favorite musical composition: Sibelius symphonies 5 - 6 - 7. Tristan og Isolde and Bruckner Symphony nr 7.

My greatest musical experience: Chopin recital, Artur Rubinstein, 1969. Mahler symfoni nr 9, Cleveland Orchestra, Bernad Haitink, 1973. Concert in Tallin, Estonia with the Kapel and Paavo Berglund. Sonning Prize Concert with Sir Simon Rattle and the Kapel, 2013.

My most memorable/funny/unusual experience in the Kapel: Tour of the Baltics with Paavo Berglund 1992 and Götterdämmerung 2006.

When I’m not playing in the Kapel: I teach at the Royal Conservatory and I love to cook - very interested in fine wines and excellent restaurants.
