Pelle Gravers Nielsen

My education: Diploma from The Royal Danish Conservatorium with Bjørn Carl Nielsen and professor Ole Henrik Dahl. Other teachers: Joakim Dam Thomsen, Gordon Hunt, Franciois Leleux, Hansjörg Schellenberger.

My favorite musical composition: Any piece of music that I want to hear again. Among others, the soundtrack from the TV series “Night Rider” with David Hasselhof.

My greatest musical experience: Hmmm, - hard to say. Luckily there’s lots…Concerts with Orkester Norden, Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, the Conservatorium, The Kapel. My favourite would have to be Tristan with Jiri Kout.

My most memorable/funny/unusual experience in the Kapel: I had a laughing fit that lasted almost the whole of the 3rd act of Lulu. I’m not telling why…

When I’m not playing in the Kapel: Spending time with my gorgeus modern family. Playing “You vs. wild” in the outdoors with my kids and going spearfishing whenever i can.
