Jonathan Goodwin

My education: I did my undergraduate at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Eric Crees, Simon Wills, Peter Gane and Chris Houlding. I then studied in Cologne for 2 years with Ulrich Flad before moving to The university of Gothenburg to study with Ingemar Roos and Jens Kristian Søgaard.

My favourite composition: Tough choice but either Tchaikovsky 6 or Madame Butterfly.

My greatest musical experience: Hearing Berlin Phil playing Mahler 2 with Simon Rattle in London.

When I am not playing in the Kapel: I like to travel so I can try new and interesting food. Then I like to come home and try to recreate them. I also love rugby.
